"When you've done it unto the least of these"

"When you've done it unto the least of these My brothers you've done it unto me."
I don't know the man's heart in the following photo but Jesus knows; I do know this his clothes were dirty from sleeping outside; probably because he cleans himself in outside toilet and the weather here is cold for Okinawa he really didn't smell to good either. BUT he was sitting behind my wife and I at a Christmas party held for the homeless he sang his heart out on all the carols that were being sung. His voice wasn't the best and he'd probably never be asked to sing in the choir, but boy was he loud.

This guy got an evening away from the park where he lives, a real meal with all kinds of different food and hopefully experienced a little love as well. Many I read on Face Book would not like the religious type atmosphere that was present, the ministers in their suits and ties, but they weren't turning their backs on the homeless and holding Christmas parties for only their own little groups, they were reaching out to the ones not many love or even notice as they sleep on benches in the park for lack of a warm bed. Jesus also said something concerning "If your going to have a big feast invite those who can't pay you back."

The other fellow went to sleep during all the stuff they do before finally getting around to feeding these folks, hope somebody woke him up before all the food was gone:)

Promise Keepers Feed The Homeless at Yoge Park

The Christian group called The Promise Keepers have a homeless feed every Saturday morning in Yoge Park near downtown Naha City. Every week a different Christian fellowship handles most of the preparation and serving. This week a motorcycle club here on the Island took that job upon themselves; this is a special group of men who are involved in lots of humanitarian work here and in other places. The first picture is when we came into the park and was coming up to the site the event was held on.

Yoge Park is a beautiful park

 A little gospel music
 The evangelist in worship.
A lady pastor who worshipped in dance.
A blind evangelist who brought a short message before the meal.
This is the food line, lots of people came to be blessed and fed.
